On December 9, ADOPT, together with the Swedish Optical Society and Stockholms Universitet hosted a Laserfest to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the laser. A full day of talks and demonstrations were held, in the morning at Kista, and after lunch at Albanova. The program for the day and the abstracts for the talks can be found as in the following attachment.

The day ended by a laser show by Mikael Israelson from Tecnica Humana, with the assistance of Jonny Gustavsson, Industrial Engineering and Management at KTH. In the evening a dinner was served, with food sponsored in part by ADOPT and drinks sponsored by Cobolt AB. In total event drew about 100 participants. Some photos from the event can be seen below.
