Sigvard Eklund Prize winners announcement 2017

Congratulations to Zsolt Elter and Mimmi Bäck for being awarded the Sigvard Eklund Prize 2017.

Zsolt Elter, Chalmers, is being awarded this year's prize for best PhD thesis "Neutron Monitoring Based on the Higher Order Statistics of Fission Chamber Signals". He is currently working as PostDoc at Uppsala University.


Mimmi Bäck, KTH, is being awarded the prize for best MSc thesis "Welding of dissimilar metals in different welding positions”. Mimmi is now working at OKG.
There is no winner awarded in the Bachelor Science category this year.


A prize ceremony will take place at the SKC annual Symposium dinner. At the Symposium, being held October 10-11, the prize winners will also present their work.
