At the student affairs office you can get help with

  • Registration and re-registration at courses that are given by the Department of Mathematics
  • Submitting and collecting homework (project reports, lab sheets etc.)

All homeworks should be delivered to Mathematics postbox SF in front of the Student affairs office TR8.

When submitting homework (project reports, lab sheets etc.) please use the following form:

  • Collect corrected short examination papers
  • PhD students and students of Stockholm University can even collect their examination papers. KTH students will have their scanned examination papers accessible at “My Pages” at the students’ web site.

Please observe that course literature can be bought at Kårbokhandeln.

Course registration

  • In order to register for a course given by the Department of Mathematics please use the corresponding web site accessible via your personal menu.
  • If you are a student enrolled in a programme at KTH you can only register for a course if you are additionally enrolled for the respective semester.
  • When you intend to take a course stretching over more than one semester you must re-register for the new semester.

Autumn semester 2017

  • P1: 21 aug – 31 aug 2017
  • P2: 23 okt – 02 nov 2017

Spring semester 2018

  • P3: 08 jan – 18 jan 2018
  • P4: 12 mar – 22 mar 2018

Application for exams

The application for participation in examinations is compulsory according to KTH’s rules and can be done via “My Pages”.

Autumn semester 2017

  • Period 1: 21Sept - 5 Oct 2017 (Regular exams period 1, in October)
  • Period 2: 6 Nov -- 4 Dec 2017 (Re-exams period 1, in December)
  • Period 2: 20 Nov -- 18 Dec 2017 (Regular exams period 2, in January)

Spring semester 2018

  • Period 3: 25 Jan - 22 Febr 2018 (Regular exams period 3, in March)
  • Period 3: 20 Febr - 20 March 2018 (Re-exams period 2, in April)
  • Period 4: 30 Apr - 14 May 2018 ((Regular exams period 4, in May/June)
  • Period 4: 30 Apr - 22 May 2018 (Re-exams period 3, in June)

Re-examination period August 2018: 02 July - 30 July 2018

Students who are not able apply using "My Pages", for example PhD students, SU students and those who intend to enhance their grade, shall fill in the corresponding form below and submit it to studentoffice@math.kth.se or to the student affairs office before the deadlines indicated above.

Request for review of grade

A request for review of grade can be filed by filling in the form below that shall be left at the student affairs office in person or sent by email.
