Industrial Ecology is happy to welcome the new Associate Professor (SWE: Lektor) in Industrial Ecology, Environmental Management!

Cecilia Sundberg started her position as Associate Professor (SWE: Lektor) Industrial Ecology, Environmental Management on Oct 1st 2015. Cecilia came from SLU, Uppsala to KTH, and will strengthen Industrial Ecology's teaching and research efforts in Environmental Management. Cecilia holds a PhD in Technology from SLU, Uppsala, Sweden, and in 2013 she became an Assoc. Prof. (SWE: Docent) at the same university. Her research interests focuses on environmental systems analysis of bioenergy and food production and organic waste management. Resource efficiency, recycling and greenhouse gas emission reduction are particular interests. Transdisciplinary research, in cooperation with natural or social scientists characterises many of her projects. In an international perspective, she is involved in several research projects in Africa. She has teaching experiences from courses in e.g., bioenergy and energy systems, and has also supervised many thesis students on bachelor to PhD level.
