During the autumn semester 2022 we will read and discuss Patricia Fara’s A Lab of One’s Own – Science and Suffrage in the First World War, which focuses on the women behind the research that was elaborated during the First World War.
During the discussion we will explore the historical context and compare it to the conditions in the research field of science of today. What changes can we see and what similarities might we observe?
The book discussion is part of the KTH Library’s contribution to the overall equality work at KTH. The aim is to create a common arena for everyone at KTH to discuss questions of gender equality, sustainability and equal rights and work together towards change.
