System maintenance may affect several KTH IT services

Published Jul 09, 2020

Urgent system maintenance risks affecting several of KTH's IT services. Including login to KTH's website, email services and other underlying systems.

Due to the fact that KTH is immediately forced to replace its digital certificates for IT services, these can be affected by operational disruptions for a number of days starting July 10. KTH works to minimize the impact as much as possible.

If you experience problems when logging in to KTH services, or when sending data to e.g. email or print servers, please contact .

2020-07-10, 3.15 PM All certificate have been changed. All public services are working. We will continue to work on services that are only used periodically.

For administrators managing services using KTH's infrastructure:

The certificate provider used by KTH and other SUNET/GÉANT members will revoke security certificates used on many of KTH's central services.

If your application/agent uses SSL to connect to authentication services, email services, etc., you can try to add these intermediate certificates to the application's certificate store. Certificates chains for both EV and OV certificates are available here.  Contact it-support if you experience problems, but please note that our response time may be longer than usual during the summer.
