Solved: Problems when connecting to eduroam. Read the text for workaround.

How the interuption affects you: Problems when connecting to eduroam. Error message: "Could not connect. Login information is invalid"

The problem has occurred due to a security certificate for eduroam has expired, but it has been replaced with a new one.

How will my broken Eduroam be repaired?

Mobile units: Use the CAT configurator to redo the Eduroam connection and get the new certificate. See CAT configurator  

Self administered computers: Use the CAT configurator to redo the Eduroam connection and get the new certificate. See CAT configurator  

KTH platform computers:

KTH Mac: During wednesday new certificates will be distributed automatically to the KTH Mac computers having a Eduroam profile installed.
Otherwise use the Cat configurator to redo the connection and get a new certificate. See CAT configurator  

KTH Windows: The computer have to be connected to KTH with VPN or connected at KTH with an ethernet cable (if you do not have that possibility you can use KTHopen wireless connection). A new Eduroam profile and the new certificate will be installed automatically. You can see if the computer is ready by looking in Software center and find Eduroam under Installation status ( information about Software center ).
In Software center you can also repair Eduroam if you hav problems in the future. And there are also an alternative Eduroam profile (Eduroam-KTH) in case there are problems with the standardprofile.
