Why should students put in lesser amounts when they buy additional print quota with. Dibs?

This is because KTH reimbursement of unused purchased prints only at the completion of studies at KTH. This is because several agencies become involved in the repayment process, which means that work input and administrative costs usually exceed the repaid amount.


Therefore, it is unnecessary to have larger amounts outstanding if you do not plan to print for the entire amount.

What is "Waiting" and "Printed" means when you are logged on KTH-Print

A: "Waiting" is for the files you send to the printer to be printed. The files will be in the server for up to 3 days.

B: "Printed" is for the files that are already been printed and these files will be there for up to 1 day incase you want to reprint the file/s again.

You received the error message ”You have no balance on your account”

There are several reasons why you are receiving this error message.

a. You have no money left on your account and you need to top-up your account, if that is the case click .

b. You can also receive the error message if you have already logged in to another KTH-Print printer and forgot to sign out. The system will log you out automatically after a few minutes and you will be able to print again.

You will not be debited for the print job that was not printed.

The printer does not print out my print job and it is not providing any error message

This occurs when a prior print job is blocking your prints out. What you should do is:

  1. Restart the printer.
  2. Send your print again.

You have received the error message “Printing error”

This error will occur if you didn’t delete the print out from the printer. If that is the case you need to return to the printer and:

  1. Log in and select “Job status”.
  2. Highlight your print job and delete it.

If none of the solutions solved your problem contact KTH IT-Support and they will help you.

You will not be debited for the print job that was not printed.

How do I see how much money I have left on my account?

  1. Log in to the printer.
  2. On the top left of the display, You can see how much money you have left.

I have lost my card that is linked to KTH-Print systems, what should I do?

Call or email KTH IT Support to get your card blocked.

The printer refuses to let me login

Restart the printer so that it makes contact with the system.

My free printing quota is used up, when do I get my free quota next time?  

Students receive their free quota at the beginning of January and July.

How do I top up money to KTH-Print?

The printer shows the error message “Code C0214”

This messege occurs when the paper has been loaded incorrectly. Check that the paper is properly loaded. Please view the pictures below to note how the trays are supposed to be loaded.

Tray 1 should look like this: Only A4

Tray 2 should look like this: Only A3

Tray 3 should look like this: Only A4
