Germany: Technische Universität Darmstadt
TU Darmstadt was founded in 1877, and since then the study of engineering, science, humanities and social sciences is a natural part of the university. Darmstadt near Frankfurt, and is a lively student city. The University is newly renovated and an extensive modernization work is done. It employs approximately 270 professors and 25,000 students are enrolled, many international. All focused on technology, seen from an engineering perspective.
