Support at Funka
There are different support available through Funka. Based on your application, documentation and our meeting, Funka makes an assessment of what compensatory support that can help you in your study situation. In order to be able to receive a certain support, the support needs to fulfill a compensatory function based on your disability.
Here are some examples of support:
Extended writing time at the exam and partial exams. Notetaking support: a classmate copies his/her notes to you.
Contact Funka by phone or email and we will book a new meeting with you to discuss whether there is any new support we can recommend you.
No, you will not be able to get your support for the exam if the online registration for the exam has already closed. The personal meeting with a coordinator must take place before the online registration for the exam closes.
The processing time when a complete application has been received is 15 working days. Therefore, make sure to apply for compensatory support well in advance.
Supports and remote examinations
How each support can be applied also depends on the form of the examination. Some examinations will be handled by the respective school, other examinations will be handled by exam staff at Tentafunka. The examiner should take into account your recommended support. More information will be provided on an ongoing basis.
If your examination is to be monitored by zoom, you will receive an invitation to zoom before the exam. If you have not received an invitation the day before the examination, contact Tentafunka or the examination administration at your school.
During this period, we have all student meetings via the web conferencing service “zoom”. You can meet us on site if you want. You will receive an invitation from a Funka coordinator when it is time for your meeting.
