Make the World a Better Place and Get Rich – Handle Your Knowledge Based Assets with Care
Time: Thu 2019-03-28 12.15 - 13.00
Lecturer: Emma Hedlund - Patent- och registreringsverket (PRV)
Location: Salongen, Main Library
The progress of humanity is largely due to the curiosity and creativity of individuals and groups.
Exploring creative ideas as a student or researcher may result in inventions, designs, games, art, improved public infrastructure, new medicines, healthcare methods, etc. Whether your ambition is to commercialise your idea or to help make the world a better place (or why not both), you need to identify and manage your knowledge based (intellectual) assets. Welcome to an eye opening lecture about knowledge based assets and how to handle them strategically, using tools such as intellectual property rights, to achieve impact on the market and/or in society. The lecture is presented by Christin Wendel from PRV.
