KTH Jabber/XMPP

Instant messaging is a simple and fast way to communicate with your co-workers. XMPP stands for Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol.
KTH has its own Jabber/XMPP system (kth.se) that is free to use for all students and employees at KTH.

The Jabber/XMPP address for all users is the same as their @kth.se e-mail address. To use the XMPP server you must first generate a password phrase.
