Lost and Found
Have you lost or found anything at KTH Campus? Then you can come to us and ask. KTH Entré takes care of lost property at KTH. Since we want the search of your property to be as efficient as possible, we want to give you the following tips and advice.
For those who find things
Students, visitors, staff and cleaning staff are encouraged to submit found objects to KTH Entré during our regular opening hours.
Examples of items we receive:
- Computers, phones, tablets and associated cables and headphones
- ID documents (ID cards, passports, driving licenses, access cards, student IDs). Loose passport, driving license or national ID documents should in the first instance be submitted directly to the police, but you may also leave them with us and we'll send them on to the police.
- Glasses, pencil boxes
- Jewelry (necklaces, rings, bracelets)
For those who have lost things
If you have lost your wallet, computer, USB-stick, umbrellas or other items, the easiest way is to visit us. Keep in mind that it may take up to ten days before we get the object that you have lost.
Before you contact us, you can prepare yourself by collecting as much information as possible about what you lost. For example:
- Any labeling
- Serial number
- Mobile Provider
- Phone number (for lost mobile)
What is the process?
If it is clear who the owner is of a lost object, we contact the person by phone or by E-mail.
If you have been contacted about a found object we ask you to bring a copy of the e-mail or the ticket number when you come to pick up the object and valid identification document (ID card, passport or similar). We must know who we give the object to.
In case we do not succeed in identifying the owner, we keep lost property in 14 days. Then, we will send the items to the police if it involves traceable things.
If we have not received the object that you have forgotten or lost, you can fill in a Lost and Found-form we put into our Lost and Found-binder. Then we will contact you if it would show up later.
