Every year, the master's programme in Computer Simulations for Science and Engineering (COSSE) organizes a joint workshop on a specific theme related to computational science and engineering.
After the beginning of the second semester (typically in February) students, scholars, and teachers of all partner universities meet during a joint workshop. The workshop includes research and cultural activities and provides an excellent opportunity for our students to get in contacts with research departments in academia and industry.
During the workshop the students are advised regarding the specializations and elective courses, including possible topics for their master's degree projects. After the workshop each student will have chosen a specialization and a host university for the second year of studies.
The hosting of the workshop will alternate between the partner universities.
