Shule has been interested in Scandinavia he was a child

Shule is 22-years-old, from Anhui, China. Prior to KTH he spent four years on studying metallurgy engineering at USTB (University Science & Technology Beijing). He enjoys reading, pencil drawing and playing the ukulele.

What made you choose KTH and Sweden?

“Vetenskap och konst”: Science and art, which is engraved with the KTH logo. For me, this is the best reason. Sweden has always stood for purity and mystery in my mind. I have been interested in Scandinavia since I was a little child.

What made you choose your programme?

I choose the master's programme in Engineering Material Science at KTH because I love metal, and I want to know more about the process of making steel. This is the main driving force for me.

What do you like most about KTH?

A space filled with art and science. KTH has the best scientific and educational system, and I feel I that I can develop my ability by 100% here.

What are your impressions of Stockholm and Sweden?

Stockholm is quite a nice city. Everyone is equal here, everyone has the freedom to catch his or her own dream.

What is your best memory so far from your time at KTH?

The firework night! The moving melody and beautiful fireworks left me with quite a deep memory.

What do you think are the differences between studying at KTH and your home university?

My home university taught me lots of knowledge, but KTH teaches me how to use that knowledge.

What would you like to say to students thinking of choosing KTH for master’s studies?

Come here, enjoy your time at KTH, it would be the most precious memory in the future!
