Qing's dream job is working as a marketing consultant in Stockholm

Qing comes from Chengdu in China. She studied at Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunication, but now resides in Stockholm, Sweden as a student of the master's programme in Media Management.

Why did you apply to KTH?
KTH has a global reputation for excellence and internationally diverse culture, and it ranks well internationally. And Stockholm is a comfortable city to live in.

What is your best tip for a new master's student?
Meeting with new people and doing exciting things will help you open minds and change lives.

What are your impressions of Stockholm and Sweden?
Stockholm is a beautiful city to live in. It's surrounded by nature and people here are courteous and polite. Sweden is a country filled with high ranking universities and innovative people. Many well known brands across diversified industries are made in Sweden.

Is there something with life in Stockholm and Sweden that has surprised you?
There are a lot of wooden houses, which actually are very beautiful and cozy but hard to imagine if they are burnt.

Do you have a place in the city that you really enjoy and spend time at?
A lake-side path along with Karlbergssjön.

Are you taking part in any student activities, if so please tell us a bit about them?
Currently I am not taking part in any student activities, but last August I did. It was a mingle especial for new students, and I made new friends there. It was really helpful.

What do you do in your spare time?
During spare time I often meeting with friends, and I also like jogging.

What do you want to do after you have received your degree here at KTH? Do you have a dream job?
My dream job is to work as a marketing consultant in Stockholm.

Is there any advice you would like to give others that will live in Stockholm and study at KTH in the future?
KTH is a good choice if you want to innovate yourself.
