As a 12-year-old, Rustam Nabiev, recipient of the KTH Innovation Award 2021, supported his family during the civil war in Tajikistan by collecting PET bottles. Today, his innovation Smart Paper Technology contributes to more efficient healthcare for millions of people in low-income countries.
