Research in aviation between INDEK and FoF!

Another new researcher constellation has received 1 million SEK from KTH Centre for Sustainable Aviation.

Pernilla Ulfvengren, Johan Rignér (INDEK graduate student and pilot), Bengt Moberg (consultant and pilot) together with noise researchers from FoF Ulf Tengertz and Charles Bolin will conduct a pre-study in the spring. The study identifies both the parameters that determine when a steeper approach angle is suitable from a flight operational perspective and identifies the parameters that determine the noise impact of the steeper approach angle under different meteorological conditions.
