In two consecutive years, the Nobel Prize have only been awarded to men. Financing system prevents female researchers from reaching leading positions and publishing significant articles, and the differences look similar as they did in the 1960s, according to a new report.
The system favors those who have the opportunity to publish a lot. And it happens to be males, says Ulf Sandström researcher at INDEK at the Royal Institute of Technology, KTH, in Stockholm.
