Pontus Braunerhelm was a visiting scholar at the South African research institute STIAS

This September, Professor was a visiting scholar  at the Stellenbosch Institute for Advanced Study (STIAS), an independent institute based at the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa.

During his time at STIAS had Pontus Braunerhjelm both research task, and secondly, he was involved in the organizing committee of a roundtable conference on the theme "Innovation-driven growth in Sub-Saharan Africa".

The conference takes place on 22-23 February 2016 and is expected to bring together Swedish and African politicians, business leaders and scholars as well as representatives from the World Bank and the OECD.
