PROSPERO EU FP7-project presented to Members of the European Parliament

PROSPERO is an EU-FP7 funded project (Proactive Safety Performance in Operations).

Main themes of the project are:

  • Proactive safety performance for Air Transport System (ATS) operations
  • Managing Safety, Risk and Change
  • Exploitation of PROSPERO for other high risk industries, e.g Nuclear, Health care and Transport

KTH is one of the key research partners but the project is coordinated by Trinity College Dublin (TCD) and their Centre for Innovative Human Systems.

INDEK in PROSPERO is represented by Associate Professor Pernilla Ulfvengren and PhD student Matthew Stogsdill.

For dissemination of the project a short film has been produced that describe the challenges in Aviation industry and the objectives of the PROSPERO project.
