Outstanding Paper Award at MEMS2014 conference for MST

One of the three Outstanding Paper Awards at the Micro Electro Mechanical Systems Conference (MEMS), 2014 IEEE 27th for oral communications was awarded to Zargham Baghchehsaraei, PhD student under supervision of Joachim Oberhammer at the Micro and Nanosystems Department

The paper, entitled MEMS-RECONFIGURABLE WAVEGUIDE IRIS FOR SWITCHABLE V-BAND CAVITY RESONATORS, was presented as an oral communication by first author  . Coauthored by   as the team leader in   within the  , the paper got one of the four Outstanding Paper Awards (three of them for oral communications) at the Micro Electro Mechanical Systems Conference (MEMS), 2014 IEEE 27th.

Moreover, within the 14 nominees for the Outstanding Paper Awards there was another contribution from MST: the oral presentation held by G. Pardon entitled SURFACE ENERGY MICROPATTERN INHERITANCE FROM MOLD TO REPLICA (more information) , coauthored by T. Haraldsson and with W. van der Wijngaart as the team leader in .
