In her talk, Maria will present her research on both quantitative and qualitative nutritional assessment of school cafeteria menus - focusing on what is served, what is actually consumed, and the food waste left on the plate. She will also discuss how nutritional education strategies can help understand student food preferences and raise awareness, with the aim of reducing food waste and promoting healthier eating habits.
