Abstract

Spacetime intrinsic flat convergence is a low regularity notion of convergence in the Lorentzian setting defined as follows. First, a spacetime is converted into a metric space using the cosmological time function of Andersson, Galloway and Howard and the null distance of Sormani and Vega. For 'nice' spacetimes these metric spaces will have both integral current structure and causal structure, and their intrinsic flat limits can be defined. We will discuss how these ideas apply in the context of future maximal developments of initial data sets and outline some applications. This is work in progress with Christina Sormani.
