Abstract
Continuum limits of planar statistical physics models exhibit universal structures (both random and non-random) which have been the subject of intense mathematical research activity in recent years. The analysis of such structures is one main theme in random conformal geometry, sitting at the intersection of probability, complex analysis, and mathematical physics. In this lecture, I will survey some of my own work as well as models, ideas, and open problems in this area.
