**Lecturer: **
Dmitrii Silvetrov (Department of Mathematics, Stockholm University)

**Location: ** Room 306, House 6, Kräftriket, Department of Mathematics, Stockholm University

*Stochastic Processes and Applications*

**.**Springer Proceedings in Mathematics & Statistics,

**271**, Springer, Cham, 2018, xix+475 pp. This book arose on the basis of contributions presented at the International Conference “Stochastic Processes and Algebraic Structures — From Theory Towards Applications” (SPAS2017) held in Västerås (Division of Applied Mathematics, Mälardalen University) and Stockholm (Department of Mathematics, Stockholm University) on 4-6 October 2017. The particular attention will be given to presentation of results of two chapters:

**3**. Silvestrov, D. “Individual ergodic theorems for perturbed alternating regenerative processes” and

**11**. Silvestrov, D., Petersson M. and Hössjer, O. “Nonlinearly perturbed birth-death-type models”, and further development of results presented in these chapters.
