Multiphase and non-Newtonian flows

The work in Multiphase and non-Newtonian flows deals with e.g. particles and droplets in flows, polymer and nanoparticles suspensions and complex physical chemistry such as dispersion-gel transitions and evaporation. We are advanced users of high performance computing and utilises experimental techniques such as particle image velocimetry, magnetic resonance imaging, optical coherence tomography and X-rady diffraction to characterise on length scales from meters to nanometers.
