The project aims to develop an innovative medical IoT system with wearable sensors and AI technologies for effective operation perception and design optimization of prosthetic sockets.

SocketSense ( ) is a research project within the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme ( ), running from 2019.01. - 2022.06.

The KTH contribution is in the areas of embedded electronics, mechatronics validator, data analytics and AI algorithms. KTH is also the project coordinator.
