40 students from three different schools have just got back from competing as a team for the KTH Eco Cars in the Shell Eco Marathon in Rotterdam.

The competition involved approximately 220 teams from 24 nations. KTH participated with two cars - one in each class: "Protoype" and "Urban Concept".

The Prototype car, Sleipner, managed to set a new record for the hydrogen-powered Swedish cars in the race, achieving 135 km / kWh which is equivalent to approximately 1200 km / liter converted to unleaded gasoline.
