 About the event

The significance of rankings to Higher Education Institutions has increased both globally and locally. The number and importance of rankings has also increased and potential students and their families, academics, research financiers, university leaders as well as governments and industry stakeholders often use the performance data they provide as an indicator of the quality of an institution’s education, research and collaboration.

Times Higher Education Impact Rankings is the latest system to be added to a growing list of competing rankings. It is the only global performance tables that assess universities against the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and provides a comparison across the areas of research, outreach and stewardship.

Can this ranking be used to catalyse change in the Higher Education sector?
