It is an article on the environmental history of Italian migrants – or better Emilia-Romagna people – in Argentina and their many entanglements with the "moving landscapes" they inhabited and traversed. Daniele Valisena wrote this essay with Antonio Canovi and it is part of a special issue on "Environments of Italianness" that Daniele co-edited together with Roberta Biasillo and Claudio De Majo and which will be out soon.
