Focus area 3: Industry 4.0 / Smart Production

This focus area is followed by an active working group. The Smart Manufacturing Working Group unites the representatives of industry and research, operating within topics of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing, sensors, production data analytics, etc.​

Goals and objectives:

• To discuss actual industrial problems and needs within the field of digitalzation of production and smart manufacturing
• To build a strong connections and dialogue between industry and research 
• To share experience, knowledge and results of research 
• To discuss the implementation of the state of the art tendencies and technologies 
• To collaborate in joint research projects and find opportunities for the development
