Mohamed Rasheed Hilmy Mohamed Abdalsalam Abdalmoaty
Dr. Mohamed Abdalmoaty is a postoctoral researcher at the Division of Decision and Control Systems at KTH. He was awarded a Licentiate degree (teknologie licentiat) and a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, in 2018 and 2019, respectively, from the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science school of KTH. In 2012, he received a M.Sc. degree in Space Science and Technology from Luleå University of Technology in Sweden, and an Ing. degree in Systems and Control (with honours and dean's prize) from the Czech Technical University in the Czech Republic. Before that, he received a B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering in from Helwan University in Egypt.
Dr. Abdalmoaty's interests lie mainly in the common denominator of systems and control theory, system identification, and statistical inference. His research aims to develop systematic methods that are capable of delivering reliable data-driven decision and control systems of complex interconnected dynamical systems operating in uncertain environments. His current focus is on "Learning stochastic nonlinear dynamical models"; in particular, the construction and analysis of tractable and reliable parametric estimation methods.
