Ahti Ainomäe
About me
Ahti Ainomäe was born in Estonia in 1981. He received his Lic. Tech. degree (2017) in Electrical Engineering from KTH, Sweden. He received his Ph.D (2018), M.Sc (2007) and B.Sc (2003) degrees in Telecommunications from TalTech, Estonia. From 2008 to 2018 he was a Ph.D student at the former Department of Radio and Telecommunication Engineering (merged to Thomas Johann Seebeck Department of Electronics) at TalTech. From 2012 to 2017 he was a member of the Signal Processing Laboratory (merged to Information Science and Engineering Department) at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden, in accordance to the cooperation memorandum between KTH and TalTech, for his jointly supervised degree studies. Ahti Ainomäe has held several positions in telecommunications industry and since 2020 he works as a researcher, developer and consultant in telecommunications industry.
His research interests include wireless communication engineering, statistical and adaptive signal processing, RF technologies and radio-near algoritms, cooperative communication, network learning, distributed estimation and distributed detection algorithms in Cognitive Radio, spectrum sensing, machine learning, data processing.
