Personal Statement

My research interests span hardware optimized big data systems and future architectural exploration for big data workloads. I have extensive experience in optimizing the performance of big data frameworks by exploiting architectural features and hardware acceleration. During my PhD, I have written and presented a couple of papers on the subject matter at international conferences. I was an invited speaker at  Spark Summit Europe 2016 and at Thematic session at HiPEAC Computer Systems week in Dublin.  I was a visiting researcher at Barcelona Super-Computing Center, Spain. I won HiPEAC Collaboration grant written together with IBM research Zurich. I also did HiPEAC research internship at Recore Systems, Netherlands. Starting March, I will intern at IBM Research Tokyo.

I would be interested in full-time positions both in industry and academia that align my research interests.
