Bin Zhu

I am a researcher and PhD student of Interaction Design in KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden. My research focuses on the interaction design of personal informatics for wellbeing. The relationship between people and their lived bio-data is explored using the method of Research through Design. I design several artifacts and installations for relaxation and mindfulness in everyday life from an eastern philosophic thinking. My design practice provides a larger understanding and exploration on how to apply Chinese aesthetics to live with our body and nature in unison, harmony and appreciation.
