Carlos Barreto Suarez

I am a postdoctoral researcher at KTH, working under the supervision of Robert Lagerström and Ulrik Franke. I have conducted research on cyber security and now I am focusing on threat modeling and cyber insurance. My current research is funded through the Digital Futures research program.

I received my PhD degree in Computer science from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2018, under the supervision of Alvaro Cárdenas. In 2013 I received my M.S. in Electronic Engineering from Universidad de los Andes, Colombia, where I woked with Nicanor Quijano and Eduardo Mojica. I received my B.S. in Electronic Engineering from Universidad Distrital Francisco Jose de Caldas, Colombia in 2011. During 2018-2020 I worked as a postdoc at Vanderbilt University under the supervision of Xenofon Koutsoukos.
