Chitchai Srithapon
About me
Chitchai Srithapon is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He is working with Associate Professor Daniel Månsson to develop optimization algorithms for electric vehicle (EV) charging schedules incorporating renewable energy sources and heat pumps in energy communities.
He received a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Khon Kaen University, Thailand, in 2021. His research interests include smart EV charging scheduling, probabilistic optimal power flow, energy management systems, optimal battery energy storage systems allocation, and machine learning.
Prior to joining KTH, Chitchai had been working as an electrical engineer at the Provincial Electricity Authority. He has more than 13 years of experience in the power distribution sector, including power system analysis, power quality assessment, data analytics, and project management.
