About me

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Mathematics at KTH.  I am part of the division of Mathematics of Data and AI, and belong to the Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program working with Katharina Jochemko.

Before, I was a postdoctoral researcher in the number theory group at EPFL working with Maryna Viazovska, and an ICERM semester postdoc at Brown University. In 2017, I completed my PhD at the University of Cologne, advised by Frank Vallentin.

Research interests
  • Optimization (in particular, semidefinite and polynomial optimization)

  • Discrete geometry (in particular, packing and energy minimization)

  • Real algebraic geometry (in particular, sum-of-squares approximations to nonnegative polynomials)

  • Interactions with artificial intelligence
