My background is as a medical doctor and physiologist.  Predominantly, my research concerns effects of environmental factors, such as acceleration, pressure and temperature, on physiological responses in humans, in particular caediovascular, respiratory, musculoskeletal, vestibular and thermoregulatory functions.
