Glib Baryshnikov

Glib Baryshnikov was born in 1989 in the town of Kramatorsk in eastern Ukraine. He graduated in the chemical department of Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University in 2012 and defended his Ph.D. in physical chemistry three years later at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University (Ukraine) under the supervision of prof. B. F. Minaev. He is now a Carl Tryggers postdoc in the group of prof. Hans Ågren at KTH. Gleb is an author of 85 publications in international journals and two monographs in organic electronics. His research interests are focused on theoretical studies of materials for dye-synthesized solar cells and organic light-emitting diodes. Among these materials the hetero[8]circulenes, TADF organic materials and polynuclear magnetic Cu(II) complexes are especially in a focus of study.
