Ignacio Gallego Marcos

PhD student at the Nuclear Power Safety division. My current research focuses on the development of models which can predict in an efficient manner the thermal behavior of a BWR pressure suppression pool during a steam blowdown event. This model development is combined with a validation process using experimental data from facilities such as PPOOLEX (Finland, LUT) and PANDA (Switzerland, PSI).
