Jatin Sethi

The primary theme of my research is develop processes and materials that can contribute towards sustainable future. I am a polymer chemist/material scientist by background, who has a PhD in process engineering from University of Oulu, Finland. During my PhD, I dealt with major challanges of cellulosic nanomaterials namely slow draining and poor water resistance. I suggested solutions in terms of water based, industrially adaptable green processes.

 At KTH, I continue to use my nanocellulose expertise in developing nanocellulose films for packaging materials. My research is of interdisciplinary nature which utilized polymer chemistry and processing, along with studying cellulose interactions with polymers and 2D nanoplatelets.
