Om mig
I'm a PhD student in Prof. Martin Wiklunds group at the Department of Applied Physics at KTH. In my research, I use ultrasonic standing waves and the resulting radiation forces to manipulate the position of cells and particles in microfluidic devices. More specifically, I force cancer cells together and incubate them to create tumor models called multicellular tumor spheroids. These 3-dimensional tumor models better imitate solid tumors in patients so there are many applications for them such as drug screening.
I work closely with the group of Prof. Björn Önfelt (my co-supervisor) who works with cell screening and natural killer cells.
