Fanuel Josephat Ligate

I’m a PhD Student in the Division of Water and Environmental Engineering (WEE) at the Department of Sustainable Development Environmental Science and Engineering (SEED), KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. My Research interest is focused on Water and Environmental Chemistry. Currently I work on the project titled “Origin and Mobilization of Geogenic Contaminants with focus on Arsenic and Fluoride in the Tanzanian Rift Valley Drinking Water Sources”, under the supervision of Professor Prosun Bhattacharya-KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden and Professor Felix Mtalo-University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The project is funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida). My background education is BSc (Chemistry and Biology) and MSc (Chemistry), received in 2009 and 2014 respectively from the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
