I am a postdoctoral researcher in the division of Robotics, Perception and Learning (RPL) at KTH since 2020. Together with Jana Tumová and Danica Kragic, I am working on advanced robotic systems with a high degree of autonomy, robustness, and safety. Before joining KTH, I acquired my PhD in the Cyber-Physical Systems Group under Matthias Althoff at the Technical University of Munich. From 11/2015 until 04/2019, I was working as a research assistant in the motion planning group at the BMW Group Autonomous Driving Department under the supervision of Moritz Werling.
My vision is a future of robots which robustly and safely accomplish tasks with and around humans. Currently, my research focuses on safe and robust motion planning for mobile robots and manipulators. Therefore, I make use of formale methods (reachability analysis and temporal logic) in combination with machine learning methods (data-driven control and reinforcement learning).
