Om mig

About me

I work on robot behavior correction in the Divison of Robotics, Perception, and Learning (RPL), advised by Iolanda Leite.

I obtained a BSc. in psychology and a MSc. in computer science at the University of Twente, NL.

My research vision

My vision is a future of robots that can automatically synthesize correction mechanisms to recover from real-world failures, so they can continue their tasks even after their policy or plan failed.

Current research

My PhD research leverages non-expert feedback and investigates the application of formal methods-based techniques to develop new ways to enable robots to automatically recover from failures.

While experts (e.g., roboticists) are needed to resolve complex robot failures, many robots will inevitably fail in situations that are understandable and solvable by non-experts (people who do not necessarily have programming or robotics experience).

I have been focusing on how we can make it intuitive for non-experts to provide input to the robot.
