Sajeesh Babu

I completed my bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Mahatma Gandhi University in the state of Kerala, India. During the course of this study, I have worked on embedded systems integrating different functionalities to hardware modules using sensor data and program.  My master’s education was in Electrical Power Engineering with Business from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK. My master’s degree project focused on the design and requirements for bidirectional chargers for vehicle to grid integration.

Currently at KTH, I work on the combined reliability analysis of power and control system. Power grid being one of the most complex networks experiences a number of intricate faults that not essentially should be blamed on the components in the primary grid. Decisions and calculations made without considering these complex relations result in sub-optimal strategies and solutions.  My work focuses on identifying, quantifying and investigating the ways to tackle these correlated problems in the grid.
