After receiving a MSc. in Civil Engineering from KTH in 2011, I started my PhD studies at the Division of Structural Engineering and Bridges, KTH. My PhD project deals with the dynamic response of bridges under freight and passenger train loads. The main focus is the idealisation of the train load (train-bridge interaction) and its implications for the evaluation of the bridge deck vertical acceleration.
