About me

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the department of chemistry (physical chemistry division). My research interests include understanding of the atomic/molecular structures and physicochemical properties of protein-based nanomaterials or protein nanofibrils (PNFs). The mechanism of PNFs formation and their structure-property relations are inherently interesting topics from physical, chemical, and biological perspectives. Our methodology involves nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy (AFM), and molecular-level simulations of the single-fibrils. Such a combination of methods can provide detailed structural information of the fibrils, sufficient for the development of full molecular models.
